This is the most important rule: always look out for and avoid other people.

Please note that we as kitesurfers in Jersey are currently self-regulating. Observing these simple rules will not only keep other people safe it will also help in maintaining our kiting freedom.

Special areas of note

We also request that you take note of the specific rules for certain beaches in the interactive map, especially the following:

La Braye at St Ouen in the summer

In the summer months this can get crowded with other beach users so should be avoided if possible.

Grouville Bay

This has an area to the South that should be avoided due to the extensive rocks and oyster beds there. It is also an area of special interest in regards to wildlife. Please read the Voluntary Code of Conduct regarding this.
